Happy Holidays fellow Dodgers and baseball fans everywhere. I hope you’ve all had a great holiday and a great year, with a better year to follow in ’06. This has been a busy off-season with our boys in blue, and it seems the McCourt is starting to move the ship forward once again with the hiring of our new GM Ned Coletti. Coletti sure wasted no time in acquiring free-agents Nomar Garciaparra, Kenny Lofton, Bill Mueller, and Kenny Lofton, all vets with plenty of post-season experience. What’s left next is to shore up our pitching staff, and the first move was made by sigining Bret Thomko. Signing Jeff Weaver is our next priority, but his demands probably will exceed what the Blue has to offer. Now, as for other things, I will be blogging here as often as I can, probably not as often as some of you other passionate bloggers, and as for this blog, my attempt is to blog about anything here in L.A., be it a good restaurant, our personal happenings, or whatever, and of course, to discuss our common love, Dodgers baseball. Also, speaking on a personal note, lil’ sis o’ mine, Sarah K, will be turning 16 this upcoming week, and being an avid baseball fan herself like her big ‘bro, will be blogging here as well. Well, again, I hope all of you are enjoying your holiday. Stay safe eveyone and HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!!
