Cruising The Bay, In One Day…Kid N Drei…Part 4…Strolling Along The Golden Gate

GG BridgeThe Golden Gate Bridge…On this foggy San Francisco Wednesday, September 13, 2017

After a visit to The Painted Ladies, San Francisco continues to open it’s Golden Gate…For Kid N Drei…

Nancy Bea Hefley, during her days tickling the ivories of the Rowland organ at Dodger Stadium, would always serenade the crowd with that classic tune during the opening lineups when the hated one’s we’re in town…

KidND_GG 1

We’ve finally arrived Kid! Every time I’ve come to The City, I’ve never had a chance to walk across The Golden Gate. I walked the Oakland Bay Bridge back in 2013 after it’s enhancement that added a pedestrian and bike path…

The Golden Gate Bridge. 80 years young. This is the first time Drei has walked across The Golden Gate. Who better to join Drei than the broham, Kid…

One thing Kid N Drei share is their love of long walks and hikes. Unlike Drei, Kid has been a bit more adventurous, having hiked Yosemite’s Half Dome not long ago…Perhaps someday Drei will try that hike.

Time to give The Golden Gate…A Touch of Dodger Blue

20170913_120515.jpgWe’ve made it across The Golden Gate. Neither mist or fog could keep Kid N Drei from strolling The Golden Gate…

Before Kid N Drei head back to the San Francisco side of The Golden Gate, we decide to take a hike up a hill toward Battery Spencer. Up here, on a clear day, the views of The Bay from Battery Spencer can be very gorgeous. However, on this “hella” foggy day, the views of The Bay are non-existent.

20170913_124522.jpg What up Sammy ! Sourdough Sam showing off his city’s number one landmark amidst the fog, for which locals affectionately refer to as Karl The Fog…

To get up to the top of Battery Spencer, we first follow a pedestrian path underneath the bridge that would lead us to a trail…

20170913_130603.jpgFrom this pedestrian path underneath the bridge are these support beams, also painted in the bridge’s signature International Orange.

20170913_124203.jpgNo fog could stop Drei from having a “Good Dre” in The Bay

20170913_124049.jpg Karl The Fog may have covered most of the bridge, but no amount of fog would stop Kid N Drei from giving The Golden Gate…A Touch of…DODGER BLUE !!!

20170913_124323.jpgMoments later, and Karl the Fog has covered our view of The Golden Gate Bridge…

We made it Kid! Kid N Drei, officially giving The Bay, a Touch of Dodger Blue. Blue, as Drei likes to call the fleece, has been well traveled since 2004. The fog may have taken away the view of The Bay, but that doesn’t deny the beauty behind Kid N Drei, as The Golden Gate provides the perfect silhouette to the fog with Kid N Drei…(Kid, I know I’ve hung with you for a minute,  but really you should be the one providing the beatz…)

Allright Kid, time for us to head on back. How ‘bout some of your acapella freestylez Kid?

Screenshot_20170917-213633.png Kid Marls…Ready to present his beatz…From L.A. to The Bay…On The Golden Gate…

Hey Kid, I know you own two cats, but even with all this fog and mist, Drei says it’s still a good day to take Blue Dog for a walk across The Golden Gate…

20170919_000657.pngKid N Drei…Taking “Blue Dog” for a walk on The Golden Gate…

We did it! Kid N Drei crossed The Golden Gate. With stops and the hike to Battery Spencer included, it would take Kid N Drei a total of 3 hours to stroll the bridge and back. It was quite a stroll, highlighted by Karl The Fog…

As memorable a walk Kid N Drei had across The Golden Gate, one thing Drei must advise…When walking across the bridge, keep in mind that other tourists will be strolling along both on foot and bike. Like Kid N Drei, you’ll probably be taking lots of pics, especially if you’re like Drei. Be careful though, some of these same folks on the bridge, especially the bicyclists, tend to have little patience of other tourists snapping their countless pics.

We got to come back Kid and explore more trails. Just slow down for Drei every now and then. Remember, “Viejo”, as you like to call Drei, can’t always keep up with you…

Now that we’ve cruised The Golden Gate, it’s time for Kid N Drei to continue on. Next stop, Golden Gate Park. From The Golden Gate…

Cruising The Bay, In One Day…Kid N Drei…Part 3…Higher Dimensions With The Painted Laidies

PicsArt_09-19-06.05.05Kid N Drei…Feeling those peaceful vibes on the 50th anniversay of The Summer of Love…1967…Haight and Ashbury…

After a hearty breakfast….Kid asks if the houses from Full House are nearby. The Painted Laidies, the row of houses that line Steiner St across from Alamo Square Park, is a nice 15 minute walk from Haight & Ashbury. Since Kid N Drei was still full from breakfast, we decided a stroll to The Laidies would make for a nice walk.

“Feeling “Hella” fresh Drei…”

We’ve been in The City for a little over 3 hours Kid and you’re talking like you’re from The Bay…

“Yessir, Drei.” Next, we’ll find Kid migrating up the coast from L.A. to The Bay…

“Hell nah Drei”.

Don’t you mean, Hella No?

As we’re strolling toward The Ladies, we pass a church along Masonic Street that has a sign displaying it’s support for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

Kid- “We’ll fight for your and your families right to stay, but you need to afford to pay…”

Drei- “That sums up The Bay for you Kid. The Bay and L.A.”

Even as The Bay continues to be extremely expensive, as many families continue to get priced out, much of The City still maintains their liberal points of views, at least many of these San Franciscans say they do…

Cruising right along, as we stroll along The Panhandle along Oak Street, Kid is really soaking in all the Victorian Style housing that line many a street in San Francisco. If only these houses had any space between each other…

20170913_095744

We’ve finally arrived at Alamo Square Park. Across the park, The Painted Ladies. The Painted Ladies is one of San Francisco’s popular tourist sites as it’s been seen in many productions, most notably the opening credits of Full House.

20170913_095530Hey, it’s a Mini Dre sighting! Mini Dre has also made his way from L.A. to The Bay…

Screenshot_20170915-140556The Ladies seem to be attracted to Kid. Hey Kid, how ‘bout entertaining these ladies, you know, taking these ladies to some…Higher Dimensions?

Looks like Kid had a great time keeping The Ladies entertained. In the short time we’ve been in The City, Kid N Drei has gone from McCovey Cove to Upper and Lower Haight, through The Panhandle…Drei giving Kid a “Summer of Love” themed walking tour en route to a Full House. In this time, Kid N Drei has also shot the breeze on gentrification and dreamers. Kid N Drei, though “working” on a “low-budget” production, Kid N Drei Productions, saw Kid perform on the same grounds the Tanner Family famously roamed the grassy hill…

Screenshot_20170915-140546Kid giving The Ladies all his blessings…

It’s been quite a fun and productive morning for Kid N Drei. The morning started early from McCovey Cove to breakfast at Haight. From The Haight we strolled to Alamo Square. On the way, Kid N Drei expressed their views on gentrification and DACA. Along the way, Kid took it slow, soaking it all in…”Feeling hella good in The City Drei…”

Drei’s really glad you’re enjoying The City, Kid. Best part? Kid’s showing more excitement than Drei ! Well, it’s Kid’s first time seeing parts of the city other than old Candlestick Park….Welcome to The City, Kid…

Where in The City is Kid N Drei headed next. San Francisco sure has opened it’s Golden Gate, for Kid N Drei. Hey Kid, speaking of, The Golden Gate, how ‘bout a stroll across some bridge named after The Golden Gate?

“Sounds hella good Drei!”

Again Kid? Again with hella? You sure are enjoying abusing “hella”…

“Is that “hella” right, Drei?”

Extra Innings…It’s Playoff Time ! Time To Step It Up To More Higher Dimensions

It’s been quite a season for our Boys In Blue. Kid N Drei went to a total of 6 home games this season, going 5-1. As for The Blue, it was another memorable season, setting an all-time L.A. Dodger record with 104 wins. We’ve now reached October…October baseball is Playoff Baseball…It’s been 29 years since The Blue has brought us a World Championship…Time to take this…Up To More Higher Dimensions…Take it KID !!!

20170913_100922Hey Kid. “Whatever happened to predictability?”

From The Bay…LETS GO DODGERS !!!  Peace and Love, From Kid N Drei…

Strolling the Cove, early Tuesday morning…Drei looking back on when the yard was making it’s way. Even as a Dodger fan, AT&T Park is one of the most gorgeous yard’s Drei has ever been…

20170913_070028

OK Kid, time for some breakfast. How ’bout we head toward The Haight? “Sounds good Drei ! Looking forward to cruising the Hyte…” THAT’S HAIGHT KID ! IT’S PRONOUNCED, HATE ! YOU KNOW, THAT WORD WE’LL BE HEARING A LOT TONIGHT…

20170913_073507

Kid N Drei…On SF Muni’s N Judah…And that female passenger is like…”These L.A. Kids…So “Hella” weird”…

You know Kid, whenever I find myself cruising The City on the N Judah, I always think of Hey Jude, especially during the chorus when everyone in unison is singing…Na, Na Na, Na Na Na Na, and Paul screams…” Jude Judah Judah…”

20170913_083901

Time for breakfast! That pork chop at The Pork Store Cafe sure looks appealing…( Don’t know if “Porky” feels the same way…

The Pork Store is the Haight’s oldest restaurant. Opened in 1916 originally as a butcher shop, it’s become a favorite breakfast spot for Drei whenever he cruises The City…

20170425_110252

Inside the Pork Store Cafe. Nothing fancy. Very intimate. Can be cramped when busy. If you appreciate simple dining in an intimate setting The Pork Store Cafe is the place for you. An Upper Haight staple, Drei’s confident it won’t be leaving The Haight anytime soon due to, dare I say your favorite “G” word, Kid…GENTRIFICATION!

Gentrification. Kid N Drei’s topic of discussion during breakfast. It’s a hot topic issue from L.A. to The Bay. It’s a very broad topic that has affected the communities in both these and many major cities, be it L.A’s Boyle Heights or San Francisco’s Mission District among many of L.A and The Bay’s communities impacted by gentrification… It’s a topic Kid is very adamant about. Drei, not so much. It’s not often Kid N Drei have many disagreements. The topic of gentrification is no different.

That’s not to say Kid N Drei are on opposite ends of gentrification. Matter of fact, Kid N Drei agree with the issues that arise with gentrification. Kid points out to Drei that gentrifiers dont do much when it comes to preserving the local culture. While Drei wholeheartedly agree’s with Kid, Drei also points out that while it is true, bringing in a Starbucks or a CVS to underserved neighborhood can homogenize the community, it’s both a convenience and a luxury that serves many in the communities quite well

One thing that Kid N Drei STRONGLY agree about gentrification? Displacement of residents and local businesses. Renters, low-income families, local businesses being driven out by high-end developers. As said earlier, gentrification is a broad topic. It can also be a divisive topic. When well-rounded minds gather around, the topic of discussion does not stop over breakfast.

20170913_083924 Still hungry Kid ?

Well, we both had quite a filling breakfast. I think it’s time to cruise toward The Painted Laidies, Kid? “Sounds good Drei…Drei Beatz with The Tour of The Bay…” Thanks Kid, but as I’ve said many times, you the one with the Beatz…Drei tells the Talez…

Well, how ’bout a cruise along The Haight before we see the Painted Laidies…

20170425_101622 The Jimi Hendrix House. Taken back in April. Jimi Hendrix took up residence here during the early 60s…

20170425_095850 Jerry Garcia mural, corner of Haight & Cole, also back in April during my first of four L.A. to The Bay daytrips for 2017

20170913_075331 Hey, it’s Kid & Jerry ! Word has it Jerry has an ice cream shop on Haight and Ashbury with some other dude. Drei thinks it wouldn’t be a bad idea to drop that name in front of Jerry and replace it with…Kid. Hmmm. Kid & Jerry instead of, well…Doesn’t sound bad at all…

20170913_080145 Well, we’re just about done cruising The Haight. Time to pay the Painted Laidies a visit. Peace and Love…And GO DODGERS !!! From Kid N Drei.

Cruising The Bay, In One Day…L.A. to The Bay…Kid N Drei…Part 1

20170912_225509It’s been awhile…A minute or two…Since Kid N Drei brought you a tale or two. Last time Kid N Drei did a tale about cruising, 2 years ago, Kid N Drei did a cruise from From The Ravine…To K-Town…To The Miracle Mile, ya know, ‘Like Cruising Music…

D Day is finally here ! Kid’s first road trip with Drei outside of SoCal after a trip or two to San Diego. Kid Marls D is really excited about this trip…

Kid “I WANT THE WINDOW SEAT DREI, I WANT THE WINDOW SEAT !!!”

20170912_234315

Tuesday evening, September 12, 2017, shortly after departing L.A. Union Station. Before Drei could get all comfy, Kid gets the window seat (Usually Drei’s seat…)You know, not many people’s idea of a fun-filled road trip consists of a red eye econo-trip on the Megabus and back, following their favorite baseball team take on their long time nemesis. Some comfort, ok, a lot of comfort can be compromised. But even to my surprise, Kid Marley Marlz is very excited about this trip…Even more surprising, he’s more excited than me…Kid Marley Marlz is as excited as a…Kid.

Well, I guess when you’ve done it before, these red eye trips become old hat…

Note to Drei…LAY OFF THE STARBUCKS WHEN TRAVELING THE ALL-NIGHT RED EYE !!! YOU KNOW BETTER !!!

20170913_014056 Moments after leaving our rest stop in Lost Hills. Drei still awake, no thanks to Kid’s constant tossing and turning, bumping into Drei !!! ( Hey Drei, I’m not used to spending the night on the Megabus…) And look at Kid, sleeping like a baby “kid”…Next to Drei’s window seat…Not a care in the world…(Yes, Drei has listened to many a tale from Vin…)

20170913_053617 In the meantime, Blue Dog is doing his duty, making sure Kid is all rested for The Bay…

20170913_054752 Hey, it’s Sourdough Sam ! We must have made an unnoticed unscheduled stop in Santa Clara… Kid is still resting comfortably…

As we cruise past Oakland, on the way to The City, Drei finds himself in the mood for some Oak-Town beats from Tony Toni Tone…

Screenshot_20170920-193044When you see that iconic Coke sign coming off the Bay Bridge you know you’ve arrived in The City. Drei has always had this fascination with neon signs.

From L.A. to The Bay, it was a smooth ride (Especially for Kid. Can you tell by now Drei had very little sleep?). As smooth as the ride was, though Kid’s constant tossing and turning did keep Drei up (THANKS KID !), regardless of whether some KID, all excited like a Kid, is keeping Drei up, Kid N Drei…Ready to Cruise The Bay…The San-Francisco Bay !!!

We’ve finally arrived. Kid N Drei…L.A. to The Bay…Ready to turn The City…BLUE !!!

20170913_06521210 minutes before 7AM…Kid N Drei…Behind us, we can hear Mad Bum (DON’T LOOK AT ME !!!)…Welcome To The Bay, Kid….It’s time to turn The City…BLUE !!!

Ballpark Budget Travel…The Megabus Experience…L.A. to The Bay…4/25/2017

Planning ahead for a trip can be a chore. Saving up for one can be even more. Fortunately for me, here in L.A. I have Megabus as an option. With it’s fares as low as $1, you can’t be that. Of course, there’s a caveat. More on that later…

Union Station, Monday night, 4/24. Patiently waiting…

With the red-eye cheduled to leave at 10 past 11, our bus, originating from Anaheim is running late. Though Megabus’s on time performance can be spotty at times, I’ve never had any serious issues.

With our bus arriving just past midnight, we are greeted by a somewhat surly driver. After another pickup at Burbank, the ride goes smoothly.

Pit stop, Lost Hills. Always nice to step out for some fresh air…

Gotta take my Magic Gnome to hostile territory…

After a pit-stop, it’s smooth sailing to The Bay making a brief stop at the West Oakland BART Station to drop off Oakland bound passengers. The West Oakland BART stop is a good location for those heading to an A’s game or elsewhere in the East Bay…

Tuesday morning, 4/25. SF Megabus Stop. In the distance, AT&T Park. See the floodlights…

Though we left L.A. about 90 minutes past scheduled departure, we would arrive to Baghdad by the Bay only 45 past our ETA, 15 minutes before 8. With a whole day ahead, arriving 45 minutes late, all things considered wasn’t so bad.

 Tuesday Morning, McCovey Cove…

20170429_223953 That beanie comes in handy up north.

As mentioned earlier, Drei had a whole day ahead of him, a whole day to Cruise The Streets of San Francisco

From Market & Powell, through The Haight…The Panhandle to Golden Gate Park, Drei sure got around The Streets of San Francisco…Drei even got to check out The Summer of Love 50th Anniversary Exhibit at the De Young Museum.

Prior to that evening’s game, I had a chance to take in some sights and eats from The Garden at AT&T Park.

Thanks to some media connections, I was able to make the most out of the minimum. Even without connections, the Megabus still does help on the wallet, especially when you’re just doing this for the day and into the night.

Our Boys in Blue would take down the hated ones, thanks of course to Kid K, who just seems to thrive on pitching in hostile territory…

Snapchat-1582626380

 Time to head home…

The departure time back to L.A. would be a quarter past midnight. As I boarded my bus, the driver who checked off my reservation quipped that I was the $1 man. Apparently, the $1 fare is to that lucky passenger who snatches it first once Megabus releases their sale dates. After that, the fares gradually goes up, starting at $5 to as much as $41 pending ticket sales and date of purchase. Friday and Sunday seem to have the high priced fares as many college students rely on their service.

In all, including the $1 processing fee each way, my trip to The Bay was a grand total of $4 ! Of course, the caveat to that is you have to know far ahead of time, at least 2 months, when you plan to travel. Also, you must constantly monitor the Megabus site when their fares are released. A good way to do that is to follow them on Twitter on turn on their notification alerts.

The ride back to L.A was much smoother. A win by The Blue most certainly helped. Heck, we would even arrive 15 minutes ahead of schedule.

The Megabus experience, with proper preparation, can be an adventure. Honestly, the redeye, which for me, acts as mobile lodging, is geared more for the single and budget minded traveler. Many passengers have shared their tales on Megabus, but it is what it is. For $1 each way, you can’t beat budget travel.

Feeling adventurous enough to do Megabus throughout other parts of the country en route to your ballpark travels? Check out this Megabus Tutorial for more on how to do your ballpark journey on a budget.

Stay tuned for Drei’s next Megabus adventure…Coming Soon…

Ballpark Bites…Strolling The Garden at AT&T Park

Over the years the ballpark experience has evolved. Ballpark dining is no exception. Social and dining areas can be found in most parks for fans to stroll the yard. At AT&T Park, the concept of a social dining area within the ballpark may have been taken another level. At the home of our rivals, beyond the center field fence is The Garden at AT&T Park. At The Garden, fans have the opportunity to dine along communal tables surrounded by crops of fruits, vegetables and herbs. Most of these communal tables have a bed of herbs that allow fans to pick and use for garnish.

ATTPark_Garden EntranceThe Garden at AT&T Park

20170425_171533Herb bed. Hey, a little strawberry is starting to bloom…

I had a chance to sample some of the goodies from The Garden Table and The Hearth Table, the two food stands at The Garden at AT&T Park, ranging from the anitpasta bar to a crisp and tasty Roasted Summer Vegetable Sandwich, 3 different flatbreads and a very summery (Dodger) Blueberry Shortcake.

ATTPark_Food Spread w Magic and Dog Thats quite a spread. Behind this spread is in the middle of the communal dining table is an herb bed where fans are allowed to pick their herbs. The Magic Gnome and Blue Dog seem quite impressed with this spread

The 3 flatbreads in the spread are the garden cauliflower with olive oil, parmesan cheese, chive mascarpone and truffle oil, a house-made fennel sausage with roasted eggplant, caramelized leeks and goat cheese, and a grilled garden zucchini with shaved parmesan, olive oil, garden thyme and toasted almonds.

I had a hard time determining which of the three flatbreads we’re my favorite. In the end, the cauliflower topped my list.

For desert, a blueberry shortcake topped with whipped cream (Or Dodger Blueberry)

The garden is also equipped with The Ketel One Bar, serving local beer and wine and other mixed drinks.

With the garden and the garden’s dining area located directly behind the center field fence, a safety net is provided above the fans for their protection. Even with the net, every now and then a baseball will land there…

My one regret upon my visit to The Garden at AT&T Park, aside from being surrounded by Halloween colors…LOL, is not having the opportunity to try some of the other offerings. Perhaps if I’m fortunate to return in September I can try some of the late summer/early fall offerings.

I had the chance to interview Hannah Schmunk, Manager of Food Education for Children with Bon Appetit Management Company. Among the many topics we had the chance to discuss we’re the change in crops throughout the season, as well as her work along with  current and Giants players  with the kids throughout the community in advocating healthy eating. You can listen to the interview on my podcast below…

Throughout the year, aside from serving hungry baseball fans, the garden serves as an educational tool for the community as well as an outdoor classroom for kids throughout the community…

With our Boys In Blue returning to AT&T Park in less than 2 weeks, for you fellow Dodger fans who may be making the trek up north, do take the time to stop by The Garden and try out some of their delicious offerings. One visit and you will definitely agree that dining in an open garden inside a Major League ballpark is one “hella” unique experience. (To use a Bay Area term…)

Cruising The Streets…Cruising The Haight

20170425_102907

While Magic Gnome and Blue Dog are enjoying their cable car ride, Drei decides to take a cruise up The Haight. Love is preached a lot in these parts going back to some Summer of Love, 1967…

The visit to The Haight wasn’t exactly what George expected…

From The Haight, we discover that a street is named after a certain Kid K who will be taking the hill that evening. For whatever reason, the names Haight and Clayton go hand in hand up in these parts…

DOG! 50 years ago in the Summer of ’67, people came form all over to celebrate Love and Peace on this corner of Haight and Ashbury…Haight? Magic, we’ve heard that word “Haight” a lot from the locals. We’re just trying to turn this town Blue while spreading peace and love…”

This park-like path just north of The Haight was the site of some free concerts among others Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead and even Jimi Hendrix…

Looks like the Magic Gnome is waiting for a one on one pickup game…

” I’ll take anyone one on one…Even that number 30 across The Bay, right here baby !!!”

“Yo Magic, how ’bout we go two on two against those ballers…Heck Magic, after we take care of these two I say we take on Stephen and his sidekick Draymond…DOG! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NOT TO BE SUCH A HOT DOG !!!”

Cruising The Streets…Golden Gate Park

But first, a quick cruise back through The Haight…

20170425_095838 The legend…Jerry Garcia

20170425_095850Drei and Jerry, on the corner of Haight and Cole. Hey Jerry, I hear you and some guy named Ben have an ice cream shop down the street on Ashbury…

20170425_120640 Hey look…It’s Sourdough Sam ! That lovable Niner mascot who claims to be both the OG hippie turned hipster. Sammy insists we go with him to Hippie Hill…Summer of Love 50th Anniversary exhibit from the De Young Museum to be featured soon…

20170425_152836

When his Niners weren’t playing games at nearby Kezar Stadium, Sammy spent many a day up on that darn hill, especially in 1967 (I don’t think Sammy remembers anything from ’67….) About that Summer of ’67…Or the months leading to that Summer of Love…

20170425_152446

Hey Sammy, looks like you we’re lost among the throng. All looks calm now compared to 1967…

20170425_152436Never stop preaching Peace and Love…That’s quite a view from Hippie Hill. Speaking of Hills, and Cruising, back in L.A. Kid Marley Marlz has this beat. For some reason this beat from Kid would go perfect up here…

Hey Kid, you look nice and warm back home in sunny L.A….

20170425_152550

Hey Sammy ! Looks like Magic Gnome and Blue Dog came to join you up Hippie Hill. I wonder how their 2 on 2 went…

Cruising The Streets…3rd and King

After cruising the streets from The Cove to The Haight, we now head back to the ballpark on the corner of 3rd and King. As we enter the ballpark, we discover that a garden is located beyond the center field fence…

20170425_183117 Yes folks, that is a garden inside the ballpark.

20170425_183108Lets check out the garden…

20170425_184119(0)Magic Gnome making himself feel at home. That Giants fan be askin’ “Who let that Dodger Gnome in?”

20170425_18413420170425_184145Even with all the Dodger Blue, our Magic Gnome gives this garden, dare Drei say it, a Magic Blue Touch ?

20170425_184312(0)

Hey! These fellow Dodger fans found you Magic !!! All this cruising got Drei hungry…

20170425_174753That “Dodger Blueberry Shortcake” sure looks good. They must have known we we’re coming…

20170425_180340

Now THAT is a feast ! Drei really liked that cauliflower flatbread on the left. They even have a fennel sausage flatbread here in the garden. Everything was soooooooo good !!!

20170425_174933

Hey, Sourdough Sam even joined us !!!

20170425_171713

HUGE SHOUTOUT to our master-chefs and their staff !!!

20170425_183923

Drei THANKS YOU for all your hospitality, even with all my Dodger Blue on !!! Drei will have a feature on The Garden at AT&T Park both here and on Stadium Journey soon…

20170425_180550 It was quite a day…For Drei…In The City By The Bay…Drei even snagged a BP shot…

20170425_185523It really was quite a day for Drei…Cruising The Streets of San Francisco…Painting the Town Blue…Feeling the love from the locals…From McCovey Cove to The Haight and back (Again we wonder, why all the reminders to Drei, Magic and Blue Dog about Haight?) Oh yeah, all this capped off by a win by The Blue Crew. We sure turned The Bay…Blue

In the City By The Bay, on the days leading to the 50th Anniversary of The Summer of Love, for two cities and teams that have a long storied rivalry, it is possible that between us, Peace and Love (And good food) can exist…
